Client objective
In 2000, Capita was selected to provide a carefully regulated service enabling organisations to gain access to important criminal and other information for recruitment and licensing purposes. We now process 3m applications for information annually, and customer satisfaction is at an all-time high. In 2006, the CRB asked us to help meet growing demand from customers for online access to the status of their applications while providing a platform for future e-products and services.

Capita’s approach
We developed an online tracking product based on an accredited e-infrastructure designed to support future online services.

• The service received over 73,000 hits in the first month and won extremely positive feedback from customers.
